  12. I am having problems with my modem disconnecting from my ISP at random
  13. times during on line downloads and web activities.

  15. I have been told that I need to suppress V.42 and enable V.34 to clear
  16. the problem.

  18. Can anyone shed any light on this suggestion and or provide the Init
  19. string or guidance on how to create the string.
